V2 Conversion
I couldn’t find the instructions to do the install but found an excellent video. Pretty darn easy actually. The external power pack seems to last longer than the internal batteries. Another benefit is that I can take the battery and charger to the hotel and don’t have to drag along the whole cooler. Overall, I am very satisfied with my Icy Breeze. It’s saved the day when my A/C quit. It will take months to get it fixed. I use my plane to rescue dogs and, as it is pressurized, I can’t open windows for cooler air. I also have one for use in our Saratoga. Works well in both planes.

Conversion made easy
This kit was a breeze (Pun intended) to install. 10 screws, 3 plugs, and I was back in business. Very well thought out, designed, and delivered. I don't like that I have to buy new cords, but I never liked the plugs on the old ones. This will extend my coolers life by many years.

Quick and Easy
I bought the original version over a year ago for using while my dog and I participated in dog sports. I then tore my rotator cuff and my IcyBreeze sat unused. I started using it this year and loved it. I was excited to see that I could convert to a version 2 -- I like having a back up battery for a full day of dog sports. The installation was easy -- 10 screws and three plugs. I did it in less than 10 minutes. The only thing I would recommend is that if you are ordering it so you have an extra battery, you need to order the second battery in addition to the kit. When I figured that out I placed an order for a second battery and received it in only a few days. Great customer service!
