IcyBreeze Platinum

Needs to be easier to pull. The small wheels and short handle make it hard to pull for a 6 foot tall person. It would be a nightmare on the beach. Bigger tires, a longer handle and a way to secure it closed are my recommendations. I own 2.

I bought the Platinum cooler to use in my truck so I could keep the windows rolled up with the engine off and keep me and my pup cold during the Texas heat and mosquito season. We haven't hit the hot weather yet here in Texas but so far the system is working well for me and my pup. If I could make one suggestion it would be that IcyBreeze actually put handles with holes which would allow you to actually get a good grip in order to pick the cooler up without your hands slipping off the wet handle. you can't really get a grip well with the two stubs they put on either end of the box. Other than this minor issue, I like this product and the accompanying accessories.

First, the order and shipping process went very smoothly. The company provided updates during the order processing, packaging, and shipping process. A third party website provides up to date status and even the exact location of your product when it is out for delivery. Upon receipt, I found the packaging to be first class. Each accessory that I ordered had its own compartment within the packaging which will make future storage and or moving very simple. This is great since I am in the military and move quite often. Inside, I found an inventory sheet signed by a quality assurance inspector which I found to be a good touch. During the first few uses, I only put 6 inches of water along with two frozen gallon jugs of water in which the cooler would generate 60 degree air on low. As a result, I was quite skeptical of the Icybreeze's capability. Since then, however, I have filled up the cooler with as much water as possible along with a gallon jug and several 12 oz bottles of frozen water. The cooler consistently generates 45 degree air with this setup which cools my 300 sq ft barracks room quite well. These recommendations are all spelled out in the directions. I would have saved myself some heartache if I would have simply read them before my first use. Overall, I am very happy with my Icybreeze purchase. It makes my living conditions in my government quarters much more tolerable and I have used it at a couple softball tournaments recently and my team thoroughly enjoys a reprieve from the humid Virginia air. I would recommend Icybreeze to anyone.

Have had this Amazing cooler for a year now and WOW! At the paintball field I use 20lbs of ice and a 1gal frozen plastic jug that'll get us thru the day on Medium speed off/on using a 10AH battery. The dual a/c kit allows two to use it as well. In the garage tinkering, playing pool/darts I have it plugged in on High speed with fans going and it is comfortable during the eve/night hours. So glad I found this little cooler!

So Well Worth it! Am truly impressed with this cooler/air-conditioning unit. Ice blocks work better and longer, can use as regular cooler, but its the air you want when hot and humid. Does a fabulous job with camping, doesn't matter how humid it is out now, because I have IcyBreeze! Highly recommended, will probly buy another. When thunderstorms come and power goes out, you have beautiful air conditioning in your home! Plugs into car, easily to charge, or home b4 you go out. Delighted you have a wonderful cooling system/ cooler!

I got the Ice breeze to use it on my Boat Excellent quality, works as advertised, will recommend to anyone. (Made in USA)

We use ours at outdoor dog show events to keep the pups cool. Absolutely love it

The platinum icy breeze is supposed to be the top of the line and compared to yetti coolers. On the pro side, the unit works and cools like it supposed to. On the con side, it does not seal at the top and once the ice melts it splashes some at the top. There should be a latch system of some type and a seal to where no water leaks at all.
